Heat transfer vinyl
Heat Transfer Vinyl is a way of transferring either single or multicolor images onto garments.
Blackfish Clothing prints your graphic image onto the vinyl using a specialised printer and then cuts it out automatically. It then often needs 'picking' whereby un-needed islands of vinyl are removed.
The finished vinyl is heat-pressed onto your chosen garments in the agreed location.
Products for heat transfer vinyl
Heat transfer vinyl is used on products like shirts, hats, tote bags, jackets and sports-wear.
Heat Transfer Vinyl must be used on products that can take the heat and pressure necessary to transfer the vinyl onto the substrate. Fabrics such as cotton, cotton/poly blends, polyester, and canvas work well with heat transfer vinyl.
Unique effects can be achieved by mixing different types of heat transfer vinyl on the same substrate.
